I've been lazy

Sorry everyone for not updating my blog.  I will try to get to it this weekend.  I just got a new computer and now have to transfer all of my photos from the other mac to my new mac.  As soon as that is done I will post some pictures and update everyone.

Spring Break 2012

For Spring Break, we went to California, and stayed on Balboa Island. We had a blast. The weather was the best we've ever had. The kids loved playing on the beach, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, kyaking and finding seashells. We got to go the the tide pools at Laguna Beach, Disneyland, and the swap meet. One favorite thing that J. and his other cousin loved doing was teaching their 2 1/2 year old cousin how to eat sand. Nobody wanted to come home.

E.'s New Sport

For a fundraiser at school they offered a month of Karate classes for $30, which included a uniform. The school received $20 of the $30. E. loved it so much she talked her dad into letting her continue. This was the day she earned her white belt.

J.'s Concert

J.'s favorite class at school is guitar. He plays really good. This is at the mid year concert. His favorite song they played was "I"ll Walk Alone", by Green day. They sounded awesome. We were in the front row and had the perfect view.

Winter Months

E. turned 10. We still can't believe it. She got some golf clubs, a Real Soccer jacket, and rollerblades. Oh ya and of course a pillow pet.

While on a business trip to London, Jason was able to take a train ride to Bosham, England. This is where his Dad's side of the family came from.

E.'s first band concert

E. started playing the clarinet at the beginning of the school year. Her first concert was during the elementary Christmas concert. She did excellent and she playes very well. She's a natural.

More hockey....

J. is having a blast playing hockey. He even got a little aggressive last week and check someone. He also got in the penelty box (We don't know the reason), but he was pretty excited to be there.

HALLOWEEN 2011

For Halloween this year the kids were hockey players. E. played the part really well, 3 days before Halloween she dropped a weight on her finger and bruised it really good. She couldn't use it for 2 weeks.

THE SHARKS

This year J. wanted to play Hockey. It turns out that he finally found something that he loves. He is really good. His season runs from September to March, so we have a lot of hockey to watch. GO SHARKS!!!!

POWER SLAPPERS

This year's fall soccer team was awesome. They played hard and only lost a couple of games. E. scored in about half of the games. We love our POWER SLAPPERS!!!

Washington DC

WOW!!!! Where has the time gone? I have been so busy, that I have forgotton to update my blog. Well, lets start with Fall Break. In October we were able to go to Washington DC. We had a blast and the kids loved it.

Hello everyone, I've been meaning to update, but we've been pretty busy. School started for us on August 16th and time has just passed us by so fast. The kids like school. J.;s schedule consists of Math, Spanish, Guitar, English, US History, TA, PE/Health, and Science. E. loves her teacher and is enjoying 8th grade. Well, I gotta run, I'll post some pics later.

PALISADE TRIP #2

On our second trip to Palisade State Park Rob, Stephanie, Logan and Sydney came to camp with us. On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Combes, Spencer, Amy, and Michael came to have fun in the lake and have some good dutch oven food.
